Community Relations
At Tri-C, community outreach is a core institutional value. The individual and collective efforts of Tri-C students, faculty and staff contribute immeasurably to the quality of life in our greater community.
Each campus employs a community relations manager to aid in outreach and oversee community engagement efforts for that campus. Their collective mission is to build community partnerships that advance the College’s student completion agenda – a mission accomplished by:
- Building new – and enhancing existing – partnerships with community organizations (e.g., local K-12 school districts, chambers of commerce, industry/workforce, etc.)
- Coordinating student volunteer opportunities that address community needs and enhance the co-curricular experience
- Increasing awareness of the College through hosting special events
- Promoting College programs to external stakeholders
